Not because of his religious beliefs like a lot of people, but because of how he's been proving all the critics wrong with his performance. This is one of if not the biggest NFL phenomenon in the last few decades. If you know nothing about him, this video is great, and if you do know about him then it's even better. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ljic3_THGz0 It's lengthy (8 min) but damn is it good. It goes up until this past week when he won his first playoff game that he was 17 point underdogs in. I love how people that dislike him say he will lose, then when he finally does they act high and mighty. Not you in particular, but mostly the ESPN analysts who said he wouldn't win 1 game. Understanding football only goes so far with Tebow. He's "done the impossible" a few times this season. For a QB who "sucks" he now holds the best QBR ever in playoff history, most yards a catch ever in a playoff game, and fastest OT win ever in any game. All the media attention he's gotten - bear in mind that's over here, and the UK commentators are a little different - and I just don't think he meets the hype that they've given him. That doesn't mean to say I don't think he's a good QB. To be in the NFL you've gotta be pretty good and, sure, his life story is pretty amazing, but I don't think he even compares to players like Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees, Tom Brady (although I'm not a Brady fan either), and, heck, even Matthew Stafford (although I think Stafford won't be unstoppable for another couple of years). Right now, I think the best QB's in the NFL are - 1. Aaron Rodgers 2. Drew Brees 3. Tom Brady 4. Roethlisberger (unfortunately. Can't stand the guy) 5. Matt Stafford In 5 years or so, once Tebow gets some more experience and skill under his belt, he'll be great, but he'll still have to compete with other young, talented quarterbacks like Eli Manning. Even more than that, I can see Matt Flynn making a big name for himself if he signs with somebody big next season. As a side note, Tebow gets mentioned so much (even in games he's not participating in) that me and a couple of friends decided to make a drinking game about it xD

I mean, this past weeks playoff game was watched by 10% more viewers than any other football game since the last superbowl just because Tebow was playing. Most of his media comes form "his magic" (and I hate saying that) but it's the truth. He's won 6 games from behind at the last minute and he's only played in like 12. He has more in one season than any other QB ever had in playing a full season lol. He usually sucks for the first 3 quarters then wins the game in the 4th. That's why he gets the media attention and why NBC, FOX, and ABC fight over who gets to air the TEBOW game. He's not a pro style QB, that's obvious. He's a duel threat, which is what a running team needs to be honest to be successful. Another thing, Stafford is defiantly good, but pretty much any QB can be successful when you have megatron. I would like to see him in a game without the best receiver in the league. Also Flynn threw for more yards in a game this season than Rogers, I'm starting to think that the system is why he's so good. But, he could just be raw talent, hard to tell. But it works. He can set up Play action passing better than anyone because he's a dual threat QB. I am eager to see him progressive into a better passing QB. Stafford is not that special, it's definitely Megatron. as for rodgers.. after watching Flynn go to a shoot out with the lions I will have to say it's definitely the offensive system in place.

We'd get hard drunk before the game starts. I like Tebow, I have no problem with what he does, how he does it or what he believes in because he is a competitor and he is successful in what he's done for the Broncos and for the NFL. I do however think he's just being mentioned way too much now. More than he needs to be. I don't know when he manages to catch any sleep and study for the games. Thanks to Tebow however the media has so much material to put in their time and cover. Do I think Elway will take a shot at Tebow at first chance? Yea I do. I think at this point if he wins and goes to AFC Championship game or not he's gonna have that target on his back. If he isn't at east 12-4 or something next season then I doubt he stays starter even though I'm sure the fans of Denver will want to keep it as is. Don't be surprised if they take an undrafted or late round Qb in this years draft or a stellar QB in 2013.

Because Tebow is not a traditional QB he doesn't like him. Rather than build the team how he wants, he should be looking to build it around Tebow I have to 100% with this. Anyone who knows football, knows the ONLY reason why the Broncos let Tebow play was because of the overwhelming amount of fans that chanted "Tebow" every game. He literally put Tebow in the roster so he would fail and people would realize he sucks, no one (including me) saw him taking a 1-5 team all the way to the playoffs and winning against the Superbowl runner-ups of last year. Tebow got his shot to fail, instead he grasped it and went on a 7-1 game winning streak to barely make it in the playoffs. @Rebel I do wonder how they'll approach the draft no matter how good or bad Tebow does until he has lost. Should be an interesting offseason.

Tebow is not the long term answer. Sorry to say it, but its the truth. I love the style of offense Denver is using but it wont be successful very long in the NFL.
